Unit 2 will be a Self Representation of; Signs that say what you want them to say and not that say what someone else wants you to say by Gillian Wearing 1992-3. As in things, that are said, thought, and felt on a day-to-day scene.The two images to the Left are examples of Gillian's signs.
These are interesting as they use the general public o make the art work and are all produced in public locations capturing the moment in a spontaneous way.
The text on the signs makes you think about each individuals situation, in that everyone has an internal life that isn't always obvious.
