Meat is Murder Mash up

So to start I will out line what or even the content of this project. Gillian Wearing who is an Artist & Photographer, created an series of pieces, exhibited under the name of "Signs that say what you want them to say and not what somebody else wants them to say" - I have shown 2 examples of these on my pervious post (22nd of January 2014). I have taken Gillian Wearing's Ideas into account decided to produce a number of piece entitled "A brief expression of my current feelings, Stated for everyone to see" My pieces include Alternative, Film and Digital photography, to achieve a wide variety of Rudimentary techniques and experiments. In a few examples of my work I like to include Literature, & Poetry. The pieces of Literature written by myself include "Seagulls Fly & Automobiles Die", "Krishna Killed The Caravans", "LSD", "Meat is Murder" &  "I Fucking Hate how I can't play an Instrument" - All of which can be found in my Private Journal of Hallucinogenic Adventures.

Anyway to the Right and Below are the Digital examples of the work and annotation of what they're about. To Begin I will start with the with Meat is Murder Mash up, which is an photograph, inverted, printed as a cyanotype, then scanned in inverted again then printed onto a piece of watercolor paper, that had the "seagulls fly and automobiles die" in Red ink. The result was rather fantastic and intriguing. After this discovery of 'repeated processing' I decided to scan it back into the computer, invert it into a negative then print it off and I ended up with this image ( Meat is Murder Mash up No2). 
Moving on from this I continued with the realization of Repeated Processing, and decided to create a digital piece entitled "Busy Words No3" in which I layered, four images from my current feeling's section from my Visual Diary. To create a busy experiment of expressions and words, which is shown below first in Positive form then in Negative form.

LSD ( Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) is a Powerful hallucinogenic drug - this means that users are likely to experience a distorted view of Objects and reality, including seeing and sometimes hearing things that aren't really there - these are hallucinations. In all seriousness my Poem "LSD" was a reaction to constant parental and political anguish of the unlimited dangers of drugs, and LSD ranking at number one. So I decided to explore LSD by turning it into a household commodity. Something that no human can live without. And to have LSD FREE ON THE NHS, as a given or a national hero of the people. I decided to express this feeling, so I made the sign, and used the repeated processing process. However this time without the poem included. After that It was then scanned, Inverted, then I had the final piece - LSD FREE ON THE NHS.

WHAT KILLED THE CARAVANS?

AS I SANG, HE CALLED THE NAMES OF THE NATIVE PEOPLE. THE CARAVANS, NOMADS OF THE MODERN CITY ARE DEAD. I SAT AND CRIED '' KRISHNA YOU FOOL''

Krishna killed the caravans - was, is an expression of the mind . I believe it have no literary content or purpose, artistically however I think it spark a host of emotions and doubts about religion & deities. As in what possibility could a peaceful 'God' want to commit genocide over a certain group of people. This Idea is widely thought about throughout history to the present, A holy war, A just war in the name of God. However as much as it has been thought about, its never really publicly talked about. So by creating "Krishna Killed The Caravans" I have highlighted an unethical recurring event of history. Which in truth will never be solved. 

Dorothy No2

WERE NOT IN KANSAS ANYMORE!
Next we have Dorothy No2 ( the model's called Beth for future reference). This a an aspect of a viewer of the Wizard of Oz, who has always dreamed of being Dorothy, and dropping out of the current depressing society of War & Poverty. Then to reemerge into an wonderful cult world of Witches, Wizards, & Munchkins. And to live in an existance of constance happiness and adventure - a childhood dream. Originally I wanted to be the model & for it too be a self-portrait, so it would relate to my feelings on the subject of being Dorothy in the Red shoes. However I decided to go with beth, who would make a more appealing Dorothy than myself.
